"Felt stuck at first, but they sorted it out"
I had a problem with my order and felt kind of trapped, like it was going to turn into one of those endless back-and-forth situations. But support got back to me quickly and fixed it without making it complicated. Super relieved with how easy it ended up being

"My paycheck hours have been wrong twice..."
My paycheck hours have been wrong twice now, and it’s starting to stress me out. I feel like I have to keep checking everything and pushing to get it fixed, which is frustrating when I’m already busy

"Easy to get started without much hassle"
Getting signed up and going through onboarding was smooth for me. There were about a couple of small things that took me a minute to figure out, but overall it was easy to follow and I got set up quickly.
"For the most part, I felt safe on..."
For the most part, I felt safe on most jobs because it did seem like they cared about safety. That gave me some peace of mind. The only thing is, there were times when the work felt a little rushed, and that made me uneasy because it felt like safety could take a back seat in those moments.
"Pay was really better than I expected"
I looked around at a few different staffing sites, and TrueBlue was offering better pay for the same kind of shifts. It wasn’t perfect every single time, but the pay was really good

"Recruiter was alright, but kind of a flake"
The recruiter was professional enough during the conversation, but the follow-up was weak. I didn’t feel like they were on top of things, they came off a bit like a flake after the initial chat
"Contract terms were clear and easy to follow"
I had a good experience with True Blue overall. The thing I appreciated most was that the contract terms were actually written in a way I could understand.
There wasn’t a bunch of confusing extra wording or, wait, not confusing, more like unnecessarily complicated stuff to sort through. The dates, costs, and what I was agreeing to were all clear before I signed anything.
That made the whole process feel a lot less stressful. I’d give 5 stars just for how straightforward they made it.

"Super easy, honestly no hassle"
I hopped on the site, kind of expecting to have to dig around a bit, but nope, I found what I needed quickly and that was that. Nothing complicated, no weird extra steps, just easy and straightforward.

"Not a lot of flexibility with scheduling"
The weird part is, they expect you to be flexible, but it’s really hard to swap shifts when you actually need to. Schedule changes also seem to come way too late, so it can be tough to plan anything outside of work.

"Convenient spot, but the goalposts keep moving"
trueblue is in a really convenient location for me, which is the biggest reason I keep using it. It’s easy to get to and doesn’t feel like I’m going out of my way. The service itself is just okay though, not terrible, but not exactly impressive either. Sometimes it’s slow, and other times it feels like the rules or expectations keep changing, like the goalposts are always moving and you’re never totally sure what to expect. Since it’s nearby, it’s still useful, but overall I’d call it average

"Training was decent but a little rushed"
My experience with trueblue was okay overall. The training wasn’t bad, but it did feel kind of rushed at times. Some things were explained well, and then other parts I was just sort of figuring out once I was already working. The people were fine, and it wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, but I do think new hires could use a little more time to get comfortable. Clearer instructions would help too, especially before being thrown into the day-to-day stuff.

"Got staff quicker than I thought"
They filled the shifts fast, faster than I expected, and the whole thing was easy, no big hassle or back-and-forth.

"Hiring process was such a hassle"
I tried applying through trueblue.com, the whole thing was way more annoying than it should’ve been. The site kept sending me around in circles, and some of the forms didn’t even save right, which is kind of on them if people are expected to actually finish the application.
After I uploaded everything, I barely got any clear updates, so I was just sitting there guessing what I was supposed to do next. It got frustrating fast, and after wasting way too much time dealing with it, I just gave up.

"Shifts were kind of all over the place"
I just never really got steady shifts here. Some weeks it felt like I had work, then other times it was barely anything, so it was hard to plan around...

"I had to wait a few days to..."
I had to wait a few days to hear back from support, which was kind of frustrating. When they finally replied, it didn’t really solve the issue either. I’m sure they were trying, but overall it just felt like it took too long and didn’t really get me anywhere.

"A few of the workers were really good..."
A few of the workers were really good, but some just didn’t show up or follow through like they should have. It kind of put us in a bind at times, so I can’t say they were always reliable.

"No clear updates, none at all"
The communication was really, really poor. I kept waiting for someone to just explain what was going on, but it felt like nobody wanted to give a straight answer. I got mixed messages, late replies, and just more waiting, waiting, waiting. If something changes, just tell people clearly. Simple as that. Not a good experience for me.
"Job matches are all over the place"
I’ve used TrueBlue a few times, the job matches are really hit or miss. Some of them line up with my skills, but others feel like nobody even bothered looking at my profile before sending them my way. It’s frustrating because I took the time to fill everything out, so I don’t get why I’m still seeing random shifts that don’t make sense.
It does help me find work faster, so I’ll give it that, but the matching system needs serious work. The company really needs to do a better job giving accurate matches and clearer details before people apply, because wasting time on bad listings is on them, not the workers.

"Management clearly plays favorites"
It feels like management isn’t very fair. Certain people who seem to be friends with the managers get the better shifts and just overall better treatment, which is frustrating after a while...
"Payments usually show up when expected"
I’ve used trueblue a few times now, and the payments have been mostly solid. I was a little pressured at first because I really needed the money to come through on the date they gave me, but it usually does hit when they say it will. There was one small delay once, which stressed me out a bit, but they got it sorted without a ton of back and forth. Overall, it’s been good for me, just not totally perfect.
